Make-Over!!

I gave brainstormed '92 a make-over--new template and the modified header. What do you think? If you remember, I modified that header over there a few weeks ago ,but I had 2nd thoughts of using it. And now, there it is. Does it look terrible or anything? which one do you like better, this look or the previous one?
Well if you ask me, I like this better, but I still want your opinion.
[Sorry if I ask too many questions..peace..]

An Electron..

I just finished reading one of my friends' blog and I really enjoy reading his posts. I even like his blog better than mine. LOL (He's a new blogger by the way, http://eventsilog.blogspot.com/ )
His name is Bryan. We've been classmates since we were in the 2nd grade. I've spent so many unforgettable moments with him and he's just so fun to be with. So far, he holds the record for the person who made me laugh the hardest. Besides form that, he's like a psychic of some sort. Sometimes ,ok maybe most of the time, he know's what I'm thinking of and what I feel eventhough I don't say a word. And though I try to deny it, he knows SOME of my secrets. (Ok Bry, if you're reading this, you got me! You really got me! haha.)
He's someone worth the trust ,so I definitely trust him. (Again, Bry, if you're reading.... subukan mo lang talga! lagot ka sakin! LOL)
I bet you are wondering what the title has to do with the post. You'll know....someday. LOL

Back to School!!

It's the first day of school!!!
wah!!!! Excited and nervous senior here! Oh and just to inform you, this is a future dated post. I made one because I know that I'll have no time to post this on this day. Anyhow, wish me luck guys! (That includes girls...LOL)
As I have said on one of my previous post, "Please do keep in touch with this blog."

Thank you :)

I really have enjoyed blogging---posting, visiting other blogs, and making new friends. I really can't believe I've been missing this.
To my friends who already have made their own blog, Welcome to the world of blogging! I hope you'll have much fun as I did :) I'm not an expert, but feel free to ask me anything.
I have to make more future dated posts.. haha :))
See 'ya!

It's 11:10 in the evening, a few hours away form the first day of school. I should be sleeping right now ,but in fact, I'm not feeling sleepy at all. I can spend all night (morning I should say..) making advanced posts and watching youtube videos.
but I can't... :(
Ok,ok,..One last post before I go to bed.
Well, between you and me, I won't be attending classes tomorrow. (Bummer!) I have to go and run some (MORE) errands (Hopefully this will be the last one that's going to affect my class schedule) **wishing***

Watch out for my next posts, aight? (I have some plans up my sleeves...LOL I'll be thinking about it)

The Revolutionized cube

Rubik's Revolution
The Rubik’s Revolution is six fast paced electronic games in one that anyone can do. The Revolution combines lights and sound effects with strategy and speed and once one level is conquered, another becomes available, making it challenging too. The Revolution also comes with the added feature of multiplayer gaming so it can be enjoyed with friends as well as on your own.

for more info, visit: http://www.therevo.co.uk/

**yes, yes.. The Rubik's Revolution is now up for grabs! (even here in the Philippines)This may be old news for some, but for those who are not aware, besides from it's cube shape, it is a lot different from the typical Rubik's Cube. It's electronic and does NOT need any algorithms to solve, so anybody can definitely get hooked up on this.

At first, I thought it would be just like the typical rubik's cube that would be scrambled and sovled and that the special thing about it is since it is electronic, it would have a built-in timer or something like that. I was wrong. Still, I think that you should check it out, because it might interest you ----especially to those who have their Rubik's collection or maybe planning to start one. This is definitely a great addition to the family.

Anyhow, honestly speaking, it didn't fascinate me that much. But if there's a cube that has a built-in timer in it, I would definitely go for it. (Wait, is there one??)

I still think it's cool and fun. Go and check it out for yourself. :)

Message from the blogger :)

To the reader/s(??) :
I've been busy lately with some stuff (including my rubik's cube.. LOL). One of the reasons is that school is starting in a few days.
I've been running some errands for my mom (going here and there and such). I'm really trying my best to keep this blog on track , and I have the feeling that I'll be encountering some struggles when school starts. Still, please do keep in touch with this blog and I'll keep it updated as I possibly can.
I'm a new blogger and I don't have much readers, but I still do try to make my blog as interesting and as updated as possible. Each visit and feedback is appreciated :)
Thanks for reading this post. :)

NOTE: Please do accept my apology for any typos or grammatical errors that you will or may have encountered on my posts.

Solving the Mind boggling Standard cube... o_O

It's really hard to explain it in words without showing you ,so here's a link of videos in youtube to ease that headache of yours and finally defeat that cube!
*This is the basic way to solve the cube. I suggest you to master this first before trying to learn faster methods of solving the cube .

THE Rubik's Cube( what is it?+algo what?)

"Rubik's Cube is a mechanical puzzle invented in 1974 by a Hungarian sculptor and professor of architecture Ernő Rubik . Originally called the "Magic Cube" by its inventor, this puzzle was renamed "Rubik's Cube" by Ideal Toys in 1980 and also won the 1980 German Game of the Year, special award for Best Puzzle. It is said to be the world's best-selling toy, with over 300,000,000 Rubik's Cubes and imitations sold worldwide." [source: wikipedia] :)
*Different methods have been developed to solve the cube with the use of algorithms.
***Hold up!!*** o_O
What are algoritms??

++ALGORITHM- It is formally a type of effective method in which a list of well-defined instructions for completing a task will, when given an initial state, proceed through a well-defined series of successive states, eventually terminating in an end-state.
**In other words, it is a sequence of instructions that when done in a certain number of repititions will accomplish a certain task.
Example of an Algorithm used on the standard cube:
Ri Di R D (right inverted, down iverted, right, down) -basic
+Right inverted- turn the right side of the cube counter clockwise as if the side is facing you
+Di- turn the down side of the cube counter clockwise as if the side is facing you
+R- Turn the right side of the cube clockwise" "
+D- turn the down side of the cube clockwise " "
When you repeat this 6 times, your cube will return to its original orientation.
To follow such algorithm, you must be aware about the parts of the cube, it's sides ,and the move notations. There are different representations used to indicate move notations ,but they basically mean the same thing.

Blog News!! [source:Blogger buzz]

Blogger now schedules future-dated posts !!!
**Ya. I know. It's old news. It's ancient actually. This news was published by Blogger Buzz last May 1, 2008. Some may not be aware of it(esp. new bloggers), so here it is. **
This new feature of Blogger allows us to make posts in advance and schedule it for publishing in the future. This is indeed very convinient esp. to those who have busy schedules and want to keep their blog updated.
A few hours ago I just made advance posts for the next few days. Cool huh?? This will really come in handy for the coming school days. ;)

THE Rubik's Cube

I've been spending a lot of time with my rubik's cube lately. I'm not that good at it. I just found it interesting. If I have time, maybe I'll post some tips on solving it and other stuff about it.
NOTE: I'm NOT an expert.. :)
Right now, I'm working on the 3x3x3 cube which is the standard cube, and hoping to work on the 4x4x4 soon(also known as Rubik's revenge). If I get the chance and develop some skills, I was hoping I could write my own algorithms. (Just hoping ... ) Wish me luck :)
